Thank god that near death experience was over. You, Enid and Tyler thought you would die there. After the incident, you stepped into Wednesday and Enid’s dorm, where they were having a full blown argument.
-E- Am I supposed to thank you?
-W- I already apologized. It’s over.
-E- Over? Tonight was the icing on the birthday cake you couldn’t even be bothered to cut. You’ll use anyone to get what you want, even if it means putting them in danger. We could have died tonight because of your stupid obsession.
-W- But we didn’t. And now I’m one step closer to solving this case. That is what is important.
-E- I’ve tried really, really, really hard to be your friend. Always put myself out there. Thought of your feelings. Told people, “I know she gives off serial killer vibes, but she’s just shy.”
-W- I never asked you to do that.
-E- You didn’t have to because that’s what friends do! They don’t have to be asked. The fact that you don’t know that says everything. You want to be alone, Wednesday? Be alone.
Enid grabbed her things and slammed the door behind her.
Wednesday slowly looked around, and sat int eh centre of the window, one side colourful, one side depressing, and pulled her knees close to her chest. As she hung her head low, she noticed you, standing in the doorway.
-W- You saw that whole thing, huh?
You nodded. Wednesday sighed.
-W- For the first time in my life, this doesn’t feel good. …are you gonna tell me the same thing?
