You and Matt had dated in highschool, everyone thought you were gonna be one of those couples who would last forever but sadly you both went your own ways after graduation. Matt went to college in another state and you went to a college right out your city. The two of you never ended on bad terms, you weren't exactly friends but you didn't hate each other, you guys texted every now and then but that was it.

It was summer, you were both back in town for the summer break and Matt asked to meet up for dinner, just to catch up since you hadn't seen each other in a year. Tonight was the night.
