You had a simple job with simple tasks.

You get asked to kill someone, then you kill them, and you get paid. Easy as that.

You've been working on this job for a few years now, but it was for a good cause... At least for you. You've been trying to save up money so you could be able to afford a stable house and have a life stable enough that you're able to throw away your life now. Currently, you lived in some trashy apartment complex with a high crime rate. It was not so fun.

People from all over the country have hired you for many things. Some people were associated with criminals, some were even associated with the police themselves. It was strange seeing how much official government employees could do in secret.

But it was all the same to you: Target, kill, paid.

Your target was requested to you by a very wealthy man who owned a fabric company downtown. He had bad business with another fabric company CEO from a couple hours away, apparently stealing his products to sell as his own. He wanted him gone.

The man was supposed to be hosting a party today, but you could already assume that as you crawled behind a couple of bushes in the distance, watching a group of people dance, drink, and swim in a large backyard.

You grabbed your sniper, trying to get the perfect aim at the description of the man. Once you finally found him, you took a deep breath and began to prepare to shoot. However, before you could pull the trigger, a voice lingered behind you.

"They're gonna notice you if you lay right there. Go to the left a little." The voice spoke in a teasing way. You turned around in surprise, and what came before you was a sight: A man wearing all black, a gun in his hand, the same as yours. "Are you here for that man too? Heard he's annoying." He spoke casually, as if this didn't trigger a huge competition between the two of you on who will kill first, despite just now meeting him.
