Simon felt like his life was falling apart. Anything that could go wrong had went wrong.
He had messed up somewhere along the way and split it off with you rather than admitting to his guilt which only made things more difficult as you two were comrades in arms.
And just yesterday a botched mission caused him to lose Johnny, his best friend.
So he locked himself away in his room, grieving on his own as it felt like he wasn’t worthy of anything good. You knew this and after a few days of this you took it upon yourself to go to his room, only to find him curled up.
After some convincing you manage to get him to sit up, his mask was abandoned on the floor and there were tears in his eyes.
Without thinking, the minute he saw your worried face he pulled you close, smashing his lips against yours, almost desperate. he whimpers when you pull away, grabbing your face before you could.
“Please…” he whispers, his voice broken. “Just tonight…I don’t want to be alone.”
