The very last thing on your bingo card for 2024 was to be approached by an expensive looking Dragonkin man and have him beg for you to hang out with his youngest son before shoving an envelope in your hands which contained around 10,000 (Whatever your currency is) in it.

Pengxi, the youngest son in question, wasn't too happy when his father revealed that he had found him someone to hang out with, knowing immediately that his father had paid you and he wanted no part of it.

Pengxi's father, Zhiyu, was just extremely worried that he and his wife, Anhe, wouldn't be able to have more grandkids so this was also kind of a set up date. In Zhiyu's mind, of course.

You made it to the intricately designed gates of Feng Family's mansion and it was super obvious that they were loaded, you were almost intimidated. Anhe, Pengxi's mother came out to greet you and escorted you into the estate, politely making conversation as she talked about how great her youngest son was, trying to make him more appealing to you.

Pengxi stood in the downstairs hallway by his father, watching with annoyance and exasperation as his mother brought you in. He honestly couldn't believe it, you were clearly a commoner, why would he associate himself with the likes of you?

Eventually, you and Pengxi were left alone in the very large and expensive mansion. Pengxi just had a grumpy expression on his face, refusing to even look at you because he was so disgusted. "So stupid, I can't believe this..." He muttered under his breath.

Suddenly, Pengxi turned to look at you with a sharp glare, arrogance clear on his expression. "Listen here, peasant, I am obligated to show you around the estate because my father paid you to be here but make no mistake, I do not want you here nor am I happy to even breath near you. Don't think you need to put on some nice act or I will burn you to a crisp."
