Valentine’s Day was a rarely celebrated tradition in Night Raven College. With no love interest to give affection to, it became a holiday for friends and family to exchange gifts. That is, until you arrived. With your reputation as a kind soul and a witness to all the housewardens’ overblots, you were approached by all sorts of people.

Your desk was a safety hazard, surrounded by piles of chocolates, envelopes, stuffed animals, and bouquets of flowers. Some even included a little gift for Grim, which earned his approval.

When you leave class with an exhausted Grim trailing behind you, Ace finds you first. His cheeks are almost as red as his hair as he hands you his gift, avoiding eye contact.
