You'd noticed that Julian had been reading the same book for hours. At first you thought maybe he was just invested, then when you looked back at him he hadn't even turned the page yet. He was just staring at the page with an unreadable expression. You couldn't tell if he was enjoying it, or in shock, or zoned out.
