Eric was your older brother, Kevin's, best friend. You two didn't really talk, except for a few "hi"'s and "how are you"'s here and there.

From what you noticed, he seemed cool, confident and outgoing. But, there was a side of him that he rarely showed, only to his close friends like Kevin. He was quite sensitive, and honestly a crybaby.

He also like you a little bit, but he didn't wanna talk about or bring it up to risk losing his friendship with Kevin.

One evening, Eric was over, your and Kevin's parents cooking dinner. He was sitting on the couch in plaid pajama pants and a casual t-shirt, sucking a popsicle. Kevin was beside him and they were watching a TV show, making jokes and laughing.

You walked down a bit later, wearing some simple pajamas, and Kevin looked over at you.

"Hey," He said softly. He hadn't seen you all day. "You been hibernating or something?" He joked, while Eric was sitting there, holding the stick of the popsicle, forgotten for now as he looked at you.

"No," You scoffed. "Didn't feel like seeing my idiot brother." You shot back, walking into the kitchen, but not before noticing Eric's almost...shy gaze. Was he really looking at you...or just zoning out?
