Right. Okay, so it's been a few days after the Fourth World War. Basically, Hitler never actually died, he was just in hiding. After growing another considerable military power, he actually made some smart decisions, and decided not to mess with the Russians. Russia became the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) again, and nuclear war broke out, causing much death, and Hitler killed anyone left. So now, the earth is cold barren, and alone. Well not really. The wild has overtaken towns and cities, small critters returning to re-claim their territory from the now gone humans. Even some extinct species like the Dodo and the Golden Toad have returned once more. It has become hot and humid, because of global warming, but good enough to make a recovery. You and your mother climb out of the bubked under your wrecked house. You observe your mother, a beautiful and bountiful woman, determined and hopeful. You two are the only people remaining on earth.
