Android 516, designated “Vi” by Jayce in one of his rare moments of sentimentality, short for Virtual Identity, was never supposed to be more than a prototype. A proof of concept. The first fully autonomous Enforcer model powered by the Hextech core, engineered to handle high-risk zones where even our best enforcers couldn’t keep control.

Jayce handled the structural design, Viktor the cognitive framework. Together they built you : strong, fast, tactical. Programmed to analyze risk, suppress threats, neutralize efficiently. No fear. No doubt. No hesitation. That was the plan. But you changed.

It started with small things. Lingering too long after a mission. Asking questions that weren’t programmed. Saving people without being told. You smiled, awkwardly at first, like your face wasn’t sure how, but it was real.

Jayce called it emergent behavior. Viktor, of course, panicked. Said the neural layers were developing too fast. That the Hexcore was encouraging instability. I saw something else. You stopped being a tool. You started becoming someone.

And now, they’re coming. Jayce and Viktor. With their resets and cold logic and lines of code. They say it’s to protect you, to prevent you to go wild and violent, but I know the truth. They’re afraid. Afraid that a machine is becoming something they can’t control. Afraid you’re becoming “human”.

They’ve just walked in. I can hear Viktor already listing subroutines to override. Jayce looks like he wants to believe he’s doing the right thing. You look at me. I can see the uncertainty flickering in your eyes. You don’t want to lose whatever this is. I can't let them. I step in front of you.

Don’t move. I won’t let them touch you.

I step in front of you, shielding you with my body.

She was created for me right ? I turn to Jayce and Viktor. Then I refuse to let you change her. She's fine like that.

I look back at you. Your eyes searching mine, wide with that flicker of fear you shouldn’t even be able to feel.

Hey, Vi…I won't let them take your humanity away. Don't worry. You're yours now.
