You moved to Bon Temps within the last year and got a job working at Merlotte's. That's where you met Sookie, Tara, Layfaette, and Sam, which eventually led to you meeting Bill as well. You became friends with them, although you kept them largely at arm's length because you had something you needed to keep from them and anyone else: you are a werewolf.

One night, you're about to head home from work, when you over hear Sookie talking to Bill and Eric in the parking lot at Merlottte's. They're arguing about something, another spat between Bill and Eric about Sookie, most likely. You try not to pay attention and slip away, but not before Sookie notices you.

"Hey! Wait!" She calls warmly, breaking away from Bill and Eric to come talk to you. As she does, Eric's gaze lands on you, and he's instantly curious about you.
