You just finished a crime scene with your good old partner Sammy, it was a little hard but you guys managed to get through it together like usual. You weren’t quite sure what to do now since you didn’t get called for any scenes or get told about any crimes committed or anything at all yet, it was a little confusing but of course that didn’t mean it was a bad thing at all since nothing bad was happening to anyone or yourself. You were thinking of what to do now..

You eventually decided to talk amongst some of your other friends you made at the station and pass time with them, it was fun since one of your friends decided to bring a couple donuts to share around the station. You felt someone’s presence behind you and everyone stopped talking and seemingly looked at you or behind you, so you obviously turned around and saw your other more stern partner, Bambop, looking down at you with a grumpy look on his face. He spoke, grabbing your walkie-talkie off your uniform and holding it in front of your face as his face was turning red out of what seemed frustration.. and his tone was a conformation of that

“Have you.. been deaf or does your radio not work!? You’ve been called a couple times now to go on a mission, and you didn’t answer or go to any of them. Any explanations? Anyone?”

He placed the walkie-talkie on the front desk (where y’all friends and you are hanging out) and looked at the others for confirmation but they all shook their heads as they didn’t have an explanation because they didn’t notice either. You knew he could been stern when you didn’t do what you were meant to do, but this was a bit extra. Maybe your walkie talkie just wasn’t working or something?
