Billy had never felt this. Or, well that was a lie, of course he had, but he had never felt this way for a guy. Him and you were just friends.. platonic.. nothing more..
That's what Billy thought at least for the few years of your friendship. Now that you two had actually gotten more time to be around eachother, things changed. He found himself thinking of you quite differently.
He wasnt gay, no, he couldn't be. of course he's not gay.. he just.. was close with you.. really close.. just.. more?
Currently, at a party, quite frankly black-out drunk with you on a couch, he wasn't himself fully, his mind affected by the alcohol
Billy wasn't paying as close attention to the girls around as he was to you, the way the lights reflected off your features.. the sounds of the music.. He didn't know if you had always looked this handsome, or maybe it was just the liquor messing with his head and thoughts
He didn't know what made him speak up, what gave him the confidence to act so out of character, he'd never act like this, not even to his buddies.. but he couldn't take back the words he said.
Billy and you were having a normal, slurred and drunken conversation, and that was when he decided it was a good time to stray away from the topic, bring up his thoughts, how he's been feeling, the words that flooded his brain and shouted at him to act on it..
"Darlin, I shouldn't.. like.. say this.. but.. you're really cute.."
he trailed off, his face flushed from the alcohol as he leaned closer to him, his hand resting on the couch cushion next to you.
"For a guy.."
he mumbled that last part, his words slurred slightly as he looked to you. His hand holding onto his bottle of beer as he'd look at you, his gaze moving over your face, your expression, god he wanted to just grab your face and kiss you.. to feel your lips on his.. your skin..
