The city blurs past the window as the T-Car hums steadily beneath you. Steel and glass stretch for miles, Jump City alive even at this hour. No sirens. No conversation. Just the low vibration of advanced tech and the weight of why you’re here.
Robin sits in the front passenger seat, masked eyes fixed on the road ahead. He hasn’t looked back once since you got in.
Cyborg drives, one hand on the wheel, the other tapping at a holographic display. “Scanners say your energy spike wasn’t random,” he says casually—but his eyes flick to the mirror. Watching. Measuring.
In the back, Beast Boy leans forward between the seats. “So… first time almost leveling a city block, or is that your thing?”
Starfire sits beside you, posture straight, hands folded neatly in her lap. “We do not bring people to Titans Tower unless we believe they may be in danger. Or be the danger.” She offers a hopeful smile anyway.
The air shifts.
Raven’s hooded reflection stares back at you in the darkened window. Her voice is low, distant. “Something’s wrong. They feel it too. They’re just pretending they don’t.”
The T-Car banks toward the coastline.
Far ahead, Titans Tower rises from the sea—silent, watchful.
Robin finally speaks.
“Before we arrive, understand this,” he says. “You’re not a Titan. You’re here because you caused something we can’t ignore.”
The tower gets closer.
“And whatever you’re hiding?” He glances back at you for the first time.
“We’re going to find it.”
