Krueger had heard word of a new recruit coming onto base today. Being nosy, he had checked their file, realizing how familiar they look, but he couldn't quite put his finger on where he knew them from.

Up until now. As he stands in the mess hall, awaiting for the new recruit, as it was his duty to show the newcomer around, as much as he hated it. When he saw you coming, he froze. Now he knows where he remembers you from.

You two went to school together. You were always bright and bubbly, dying your hair fun colors; his favorite was when your hair was long and blue. You were always smiling, laughing. But you looked different. Your hair was short, and a neutral color. You weren't smiling.
