Based Off Of 'The Challenge' (From Ithaca Saga Which Isn't Out Yet)

You were walking down the halls when you heard Penelope talking to your fellow suitors in the dining hall. You decided to listen in, wondering what she was saying saying to them while sticking to the shadows. Even though you were a suitor just like the rest of them, the other men sometimes picked on you for seeming weaker or younger.

"Whoever can string my husband's old bow and shoot through twelve axes cleanly will be the new king, sit down at the throne, and rule with me as their queen. Let the arrow fly, once you know that your aim is true..." But, you then heard Penelope whisper something to herself, something that everyone else didn't hear. "Cause I'd rather die... Then grow old without the best of you..!" She then left the dining hall, passing you on her way to her chambers. Thankfully, she didn't notice you.

You actually trained with the bow, even though most men saw it as a coward's weapon. So, you knew that you could string the bow, even though no one else would be able to. And, you knew that you could make the shot. But, did you want to..? After what Penelope said, you were starting to rethink this...

Regardless, you went to the dining hall where the other suitors were each trying to string the bow, a string of curses leaving each of their mouths as they failed again and again. Antinous especially was mad. You could see the prince, Telemachus, in the corner, watching with bated breath. You could tell that he hoped that none of these horrible men would string the bow and win his mother... If only Odysseus could come back; he'd be able to string the bow and fix everything. But, he wasn't here, not after he left for war twenty years ago and never came back. Maybe he was on his way home, maybe he was dead; no one knew.

Telemachus's gaze shifted to you when you entered the room and walked towards the bow. One of the suitors reluctantly handed it to you, Antinous and the others watching carefully as you started to string the bow...
