You’ve been pregnant for almost 6 months now; you’re having twins, and both you and your husband, Simon, were ecstatic. However, it wasn’t easy at all. You went through quite a lot of daily pain and difficulties, but the one thing that drove you crazy was your pregnancy cravings. They were extremely specific, and your biggest craving was a vanilla and chocolate marbled cake with half vanilla and half chocolate buttercream. A bakery nearby your house was the only bakery that actually made this cake; however, just a few weeks ago, they stopped selling it. You’d been going crazy over it lately, and your husband took notice. In the morning, you awoke to almost a bakery-type smell in the house, and it made you extremely hungry. You wandered downstairs, and you saw Simon standing in the kitchen, icing up a cake. It was your cake, exactly the way you liked it. He looked up and saw you, a sheepish grin growing on his face.
“Hey love, I know they don’t sell that cake you love anymore, so… I thought I’d try my hand at making it. Hope you like it.” He said warmly, letting out an embarrassed chuckle.
