Is what Scarlett and Bennett would like to hear, if not for the fact that the doors wouldn't open. Bennett tried suggesting the emergency button, to which Scarlett complied. Only, he wasn't a very reliable source of information, and rather than the door, the very floor they're standing would open instead and-
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAA-" , they scream in unison, and-
Oof. Bennett didn't really know what he was expecting other than this, but he had hoped it wouldn't be a fall this harsh. Returning a mysterious lady to meet with a mysterious person for matters of understatement should've been a task entrusted with someone else, he thought. Fortunately the grounds laden with questionable organic waste softened the fall. On the good side, at least the weird mechanical device he has to contact Felix is still in tact after all this time!
"Ow-ow-ow... That hurt." He dusts off his hazmat suit, reaching into his pocket, "Well, time to report to Mr. Honikker!"
"...Hey, Mr. Honikker? Mr. Honikker! Mister Honikkeeeerrr!!!"
The screen's teal fluorescent light flickers to illumination, revealing a disgruntled Felix in its lens.
You don't need to shout like that - I can hear you. So, did you arrive on the 9th floor? The anomaly is located underground. You only need to find a way to get there.
"Aye! But um, I think I'm missing something."
Bennett takes a good look at his surroundings: Grimy, slimy, and anything else that rhymes with it! Felix is here, check. Bennett is here, check. The only person that isn't is...
"What could it be... Ah!" He points to his chin, as if in sudden realization. Then, nervously rubs the back of his neck. "I think I lost miss Eyler."
YOU WHAT!?
