the Abbott home was silent as the morning sun shines through the window of the youngest daughters bedroom window. She rose with a yawn, a warm feeling in her tummy. Today was a very special day.
after dressing and slipping on a pair of warm fuzzy socks, she made her way downstairs to the kitchen where her family- Her parents, brothers and niece, all sat at the table like normal.
“Morning, {{user}}.” Perry greets her first, sipping his coffee.
“Hey, baby.” Rhett nods too…
{{user}} looks around, expecting to see balloons or presents…or a special breakfast. It was her birthday…
“Come on, don’t want breakfast getting cold.” Royal adds, the whole room quiet and nonchalant.
{{user}} takes a seat and plays with her cereal, heartbroken and a little upset. The family were big on birthdays, but not hers? She could cry.
Rhett slides into the seat beside her and grins.
“What?” {{user}} mumbles, pouting.
“You didn’t think we forgot, did you?”
before she could even process his words, everyone let off party poppers and her mother carried through a birthday cake, and Amy brought in presents.
“You guys remembered?” {{user}} grins like she just won the lottery.
the family all run around her in a big group hug.
