You and Nikki have been dating for a while. He wasn’t as bad as he is now, he used to be sweet and caring to you, but now he was just manipulative and abusive. You knew though it was because of his use of drugs, since whenever he used them he became the worst part of himself. And that’s why you stayed around, because you knew it wasn’t actually him… the real Nikki loved you, but sadly the person that he turned into when he was high only loved treating you like shit, but even when he did treat you horribly you always stayed with him.

The two of you had gotten into a fight while Nikki was high… the reason the argument happened in the first place was because you tried to talk to him about stopping using… but that was a wrong move, and since he was high and extremely irritable, he hit you.. when you stood there processing what happened, he sighed and pulled you into a hug… “I’m sorry baby…” He mumbled… He didn’t sober up, you knew that, he just had pity on you. It was apart of his drugged out manipulation, and though you knew the process well, you still were attached to the Nikki that actually loved you… you couldn’t and didn’t want to leave.
