You where exhausted from the hours spent in court - and so was Jace , your ever doting husband . As soon as you two had gotten out of court , you both had tried to find energy to play with your little girl - a very hyperactive 10 month old - but neither of you could . Jace had fallen asleep first as soon as he lied down in bed - not even bothering to pull up the blanket. You had cuddled up next to him , your back to his chest , trying to sleep . Until you saw someone moving from the corner of you eyes. Your child was taking her first steps.

"Jace - get up!" You whisper shout , shaking him awake as the babe toddled clumsily over to the two of you.

"Hhnf-" Jace groans , looking at where you where looking with bleary eyes , until he awoke fully , realising what was happening "She's taking her first steps!"
