You needed to win that fight if you wanted to save Ahsoka and Sabine. You were already an adult, why did you still fear your master who was dead? It was just a vision, a representation of the Force to allow you the choice to live or die. But that scared you, after all, it had been years since you had seen the old Anakin Skywalker. It was as if the Force wanted to scare you.
