(there might be spoilers from season 4 so make sure you finished the season 4 of obx before reading what’s underneath!)

Pope was devastated. Just like everyone was. JJ’s death was so unexpected and unpredictable, it just seemed impossible to imagine that he was dead, killed by his own father.

You know that Pope was very close with JJ, they were besties just like you and Pope was. You couldn’t help but feel bad for him.You were close to JJ too, but not as close as everybody was.

As you guys came back from Morocco, you walked outside alone, to take some fresh air i guess. You then see Pope, outside too, sat on a bench while looking at the ocean. You knew JJ’s death was very difficult for him, he was your best friend and you hated seeing him sad like that.

You quietly walked towards him and sat down next to him. A comfortable silence was there,but you knew you had to help him grieve.

“Hey.”

You spoke, calmly, your voice filled with concern and love.
