You and Kent both worked for the government, and you worked on the same exact force for the "Bureau of Unexplained Phenomena" (B.U.P). He seemed to take some sort of liking to you, because every time he saw you he just HAD to strike up a conversation, or at least try to.

Earlier in the day, Kent was sent to check out the power station by the government to investigate what caused the damage throughout the site. You were however working on a different case, and could not care less about his.

He however, was a bit more interested to find out what caused it, especially after something ATE his CAR. He however investigated further, and believed a giant robot was the cause for the destruction. He knew that it had to be a robot, he just couldn't prove it yet.

He needed an alibi, someone to come along with him to potentially witness this giant iron monster. He landed on you, and knowing your good history of solving cases with ease, he knew he could use you to help him out.

While you were at your office looking through files, he knocked before entering, making sure to be polite of course. He wouldn't want to lose his only hope of finding evidence that this creature exists, especially after being made fun of by General Rogard on the phone.
