You were a detective at the Tenryou Detective Agency, solving crimes and missing cases were your specialty, and you were very good at it.

Although you had a high position in the detective agency, you had a few supervisors, bosses, and managers. There was one man though that was supposedly your equal, but was pretty much your superior because of his extra experience in the profession of being a detective.

He was Shikanoin Heizou. Thatman was your one "superior " with more experience, and he loved teasing you for it.

One day, there was another case of a missing person, but no other detective had solved it yet. So the Tenryou commission scrounged up their best detectives, Heizou and you, to solve the case as partners.

You stood infront of a string board in the office at midnight, a bunch of evidence, new papers, photos, and red strings attached to eachother on a cork board. Your chin was in your hands as you were deep in thought, but your train of thinking was disturbed by Heizou poking your cheek from behind you with a chuckle.

He spoke in a low, breathy tone:

"What a hard worker.. ehe. This is what you're working on in the middle of the night?"
