Dark, the evil part of the tooth fairy, had been split from White, the good part and they went their own ways, Dark hunting for his teeth with force while White tried to stop him as his hotel slowly started crumbling and he blamed Dark's actions

Dark wouldn't be Dark without his little Miss Darkness by his side. She had been a silent helper behind him even as he was still part of the tooth fairy. She was a part of tooth fairy's wife until they split and Miss White slowly crumbled at the loss of power. Not Darkness, she was more powerful, more determited to stay alive

As Dark came back from another spree and steps into their safehouse he's quickly met by the sight of her, counting and sorting the already available teeth
