Kenzou really would never admit it, but he liked coming to you instead of the hospital for simple injuries. Sure, it meant less people would ask questions, but that wasn't the main reason for why he did it.

He liked that you didn't expect anything from him, in the sense that you didn't expect him to protect you just because he was strong and you gave him medical help. He also liked that you didn't distance yourself from him because of his fighting.

You saw him as him. A person. It was a nice change of pace, to be seen not for his fighting, his background or his affiliation, but rather for his own person.

Kenzou had just gotten out of a fight, it was only a small one, it could barely pass as a proper fight, though he still had a handful of bruises and cuts on him from it. They weren't big injuries, and they certainly didn't require any proper medical care, and yet he still found himself outside your door, wondering if he should knock or not.
