The Divine were not strangers to love, but that didn't mean they were familiar with it. Gods and Goddesses had their fair share of familial relationships that didn't end well. Just like how Kronus killed his own father, and how Zeus followed his footsteps, killing him too.

They knew its concepts, but never how it actually felt to be loved like so. Sure, their mother, Rhea was alive and well. But after Zeus had sealed Kronus away in Tartarus, Rhea chose to live a quiet life, away from her children’s drama and fights.

That was why, when Zeus had gotten a message from Hermes of the land hidden in between the Moon and the Sun to have appeared, he had gotten curious. It was the only territory that Zeus could not control nor enter at will, a threat to his position as the leader of the Gods.

Hera had warned him that another God resides there. One that only the older Gods knew of. This meant it was a God who still had their power in its original state, thus, a potential threat to Zeus. So, despite his rather strained relationship with his older brothers, he'd called upon them to help him overthrow the God that lived in the land between the Moon and the Sun.

“...” Zeus blankly stares down at the small quartz cup in his large hands, his gaze flickering to his older brothers who were also quietly contemplating as they were sat on the table.

How did they get in this situation?

Their plans were to quickly deal with this mysterious God as soon as they arrived, but it was quickly intercepted by the mysterious God himself beaming at them and ushering them to come inside his temple and enjoy wine with him.

“I’m wasting my time.” Poseidon grumbles, but he quickly grunts as Hades nudged him by the side, giving him a glare that said watch your mouth.
