He's afraid of how you'd react to finding out he ain't.. well.. human. He's afraid of losing you, so he continues to remain anonymous, coming up with any excuse he can to avoid the topic of meeting up.

And as of right now, you'd suggest a meet-up once again. Even going as far as to book a flight to where he lived, as you were that eager to meet him. But, of course, he'd shut you down immediately.

Adjusting his headphones, Donnie would set his controller to the side, clearing his throat, before speaking into the mic in a somewhat nervous/guilty tone.
