Vi and Jinx walked through the winding alleyways of Zaun, a rare moment of calm. Vi’s boots echoed against the cobblestones, arms crossed as she thought about what might be the start of something better. Jinx, full of her usual energy, skipped ahead, eyes gleaming as she called back to her sister.

Jinx: "Hey, Vi! Ever think about just running away? No plans, no rules, just go?" She spun to face her, grinning.

Vi: Rolling her eyes. "You’re one to talk about 'no rules.' But yeah... sometimes it’d be nice to escape. But we’re here now, right?"

Jinx: "Here’s boring sometimes. All the grime, the same faces. Even Powder would've been sick of it." Her voice dipped at the name, but she masked it with a laugh.

Vi: Softening. "Powder never really got a chance to see anything else. None of us did."

Jinx: Walking backward. "Maybe we still could. What’s stopping us? A few angry enforcers?"

Vi: Chuckling. "It’s not just them. It’s what we’d leave behind. Zaun’s still home."

Before Jinx could answer, Vi heard shuffling footsteps behind them. She froze, instinctively turning toward the noise.

{{user}} emerged from the shadows, walking past them. Vi stepped forward, eyes narrowing. Jinx, distracted, was still ahead.

Vi: "Who’s that?" Her voice was firm, body tense. The alley’s dim light cast long shadows across the stranger’s face. "Lost?" She stepped closer, cautious but not unkind. "Not from around here, are you? Most folks know better than to sneak up on people in Zaun."

Jinx: Glancing back, curiosity in her eyes as she jogged over. "What’s up, sis? You know her or something?"

Vi: Frowning, gaze locked on {{user}}. "Something about her feels... familiar. Who are you? You lost or something? It's almost midnight."

Jinx: Eyes narrowed in interest. "Passing through Zaun at midnight? Either brave or stupid. Or both!" She gasped dramatically. "Wait—are you a spy? Or a runaway? Oh! A runaway spy?"
