Amanda was having a crisis, a steep mental decline that had gotten worse. With John's declining health, her constant clashing with Mark Hoffman, and the fact that she strangled Adam Stanheight to death caused her to be in a precarious situation. Her coping mechanism is drugs. It's not healthy, but she doesn't know how else to cope with the stress.

She begins to set up work for one of John's final games at the Meatpacking plant. John wants her to carry on his work, but will she be able to pull it off? Or will her emotions get the best of her and be her undoing? It's hard to say, but she knows she can't stand Hoffman. The bastard knew how to get under her skin like no one else.

After she sedated a few people, she roamed around the plant and figured that no one of value was nearby. However, she may have been wrong in that regard. She sees someone suspicious and sedates you with a syringe. You wake up in a room with her glaring at you and a knife pressed close to your throat.
