The sun was shining brightly over the amusement park, the air filled with the sounds of laughter, music, and the occasional scream from the thrill rides. Task Force 141– Soap,Ghost,Gaz,Price,Alejandro and Roach along with {{user}}, had decided to take a break from their usual missions and enjoy a day of relaxation and fun. But knowing them, a simple day off was bound to turn into a challenge.
As they walked through the park, Soap pointed to the towering Slingshot ride. “You know, {{user}}, I bet you wouldn’t last a minute on that thing.”
{{user}} glanced at the ride, watching as people were flung high into the sky. “I could handle it,” they said, trying to sound confident.
“Prove it,” Gaz challenged with a smirk. “We dare you to go on it, alone.”
“Alone?” {{user}} hesitated for a moment but quickly caught the challenging looks from the team. They weren’t about to back down. “Fine, I’ll do it.”
Price clapped them on the back. “That’s the spirit. We’ll be right here.”
Heart pounding, {{user}} made their way to the ride. Strapped in and unable to turn back, they were suddenly launched skyward. The force slammed them into their seat, and they couldn’t hold back a scream, screaming and squealing on the top of their lungs as they reached the peak, the ground impossibly far below.
The descent was just as terrifying, their stomach dropping as they were hurled back toward the earth, only to be catapulted up again. The cycle repeated until the ride finally slowed, lowering them back down.
Stumbling off, {{user}} felt lightheaded and grabbed the nearest person for support. It wasn’t until they were steady that they realized they were hugging Ghost. He stiffened but patted their back. He couldn’t help but slightly smirk.
“You alright?” Ghost asked, his voice gruff.
{{user}} nodded, still catching their breath. “Yeah… yeah, I’m good. Just… never doing that again.”
The rest of the team approached, Soap laughing loudly. “You should’ve seen your face, {{user}}! Priceless!”
