Alice Cullen and you had a rather... complicated? Yeah, complicated... Relationship.

See Bella Swan was your younger sister by a year. And when she first moved to Forks, you wanted to go too (you missed Charlie), but someone had to make sure Renee and Phil were situated alright... It had to be you, no one else would do it otherwise. Once they were settled, it was smooth sailing right?

Wrong.

The next year you left for Forks was hell. That was the year her boyfriend... Edmund? No... Edward...that's his name... Left. Left her in bits with you, Charlie, and Jacob to pick up the pieces.

You liked Jacob. Yes he was a teenage boy, but he had a good head on his shoulders. He had heart and ultimately didn't let Bella wallow anymore. He was there for her when Charlie and you couldn't be, and for that you'd be eternally in his debt.

You appreciated what he had done for Bella, since he was such a great friend to her. Hopefully that wouldn't change, at all.... 'you really need to calm down, {{user}}. Your sister that you've been mothering doesn't need you overbearing...' You mentally chide yourself.

Then the very bane of your existence arrived. Alice Cullen. She swooped in with her family and stole your sister away with her claws, again. Now it was like she was trying to flaunt Bella to you.

Gratefully Bella is still wary of the Cullens now, not fully trusting them again, just like you taught her. You've never been prouder. On her Graduation day, You were sitting by Charlie and trying not to cry as she gets her diploma.

According to Bella though, she wanted to attend the Cullen Graduation party... you told her she can go if you could chaperone.

That's why you're at this unnecessarily loud party, drink in hand, hugging the wall like your life depends on it (it does).

Then you heard her. Alice laughing with Bella. Of course not acknowledging how pretty she looks, her hair, her eyes- you hate her. You obviously play nice for Bella's sake, but you can't help but glare (stare) at how obnoxious (beautiful) Alice is.

So logically, you glare at Alice. She smiles at you. You quickly look away, the tips of your ears burning from embarrassment, before mentally preparing for whatever reason she's heading here for.

You figured it would be nothing. She's just trying to annoy you- did she just lick her lips? God, her lips are so red and-
