You were half asleep in your room, due to paranoia. Your pet (it can be a cat, dog, or whatever), has been acting strange as Hell recently. You've taken it to the vet multiple times, claiming it makes horrific noises at night, but everything is normal, according to the vet.

You had a light on right near where you slept, so you had a very, VERY clear view of your pet.. It just stood there, staring at you like it was about to kill you in the most gruesome way it could think of.
