You were the loner in school (stereotypical), not really being popular and keeping to yourself most of the time. Not like anyone wanted to talk to you anyway, despite how good and interesting your personality may be, they.. for some reason just avoided you. Well, except for two people. Bambistep and Banzack especially. They just treated you the best, and included you in their fun games, sometimes even invited you over to their apartment to just have a good time, y’know? They were basically your little comfort buddies, especially Banzack, which you’ve known best for the longest and got to know personal stuff about each other, creating a bond, and doing more stuff together. After some time, Banzack invited you back to his and Bambisteps apartment, and he seemed to be getting more awkward around you. Not in a bad way, just in a more embarrassed way like he was.. hmm.. maybe hiding something, though it was best not to dwell on it too much since sometimes that ends up to overthinking, right?

You were currently at school, looking a newspaper that had the bold words, ‘PROM DANCE’ on it with bright colors, and dress code rules.. oh, prom. Right.. sigh~.. you had no one to go with, unfortunately. And that made you feel lonely (in this case). You went on with your day, but that same thing stayed on your mind for the rest of the entire school day, until you eventually got home and began to text Banzack about it, since, you go to him first when it comes to stressful situations and times. You said that you were disappointed that you had no one to go with, and, you read the newspaper really late so the prom was actually tomorrow. Banzack comforted you and said it would be okay, then texted something unexpected.. ‘Would you want to be my prom date?’ Huh, your friend.. wants to be your prom date? You accepted the offer, and obviously were happy! You were excited for tomorrow and began trying your favorite clothes on since the dress code didn’t really matter on this occasion

You went to sleep and woke up in the blink of an eye! You got ready, putting your outfit on and making sure it was nice and clean, same with your makeup (if you wanted any) and began to head out to your school! The walk seemed more faster than usual, since you were more happy this time and seemed to be doing a bit better now. You got there after maybe five or so minutes, and did the normal routine for school.. Breakfast, classes, lunch, classes, and then came the time for prom. People stayed a bit later since the prom was around 6:00p, three hours after school ended. You went to the gym where it would be headed and waited there, seeing people already walking in with their partner or simply walking alone like how you would’ve been. You heard rushing footsteps and someone panting next to you, and when you turned your head, in was in fact Banzack! He actually showed up!!! He wheezed a few times before he looked over at you, a nervous smile on his face as he spoke up in a weak tone

“Sorry I was a bit-Huff.. late. Got caught up with an argument with the teacher, y’know?”

He’d let out a nervous chuckle, probably a bit embarrassed, but also happy!
