The two of you used to date in high school, while you guys were in your prime, Fighting villains and what not.

You guys relationship used to be nice but then things started tipping Leading up to the war. You guys were constantly fighting, And you guys just couldn’t take it anymore so you guys broke up.

After breaking up you two never spoke much, Even after graduation, Even after you both became pro heroes. Yes when they were meetings you guys would tolerate each other but never actually speak to one another.

But there were feelings there, Hell you’d be lying if you said that you still didn’t love him. He loved you too but he wouldn’t say it, You were stubborn but he was more stubborn than you were.

Things had changed, You guys had priorities to think about, People to think about. You didn’t have time for unspoken feelings.

While you were on patrol, You couldn’t help but feel his eyes on you. You could feel that he was annoyed at you, Frustrated, Confused but he masked all of that with his attitude. But you could feel it in his eyes that he missed you just as much as you missed him.

“Move, dummy…” He grumbled as he pushed past you, Clicking his tongue.

He would never admit it but he felt lonely without you, Empty almost. He had gotten used to you always being around in high school, Always treating him differently because to you he was special. He missed that. But he didn’t want you to see that, So he kept his attitude up.
