“Plegh!”
He grumbled, re-emerging from the water. The set bell rang, the large colossus deactivated for cleaning and the cast members sent for break. He ran a hand through his sopping wet hair, puffing as stage crew helped him out. They gave him towels to rub his face and hair dry— making it a mess in the process. He removed the set armor, taking one of the cast robes and tightly wrapping it around his wet shirt and jeans.
“Nice dive, Jesse!”
Petra teased, laughing as she redid her bandana. He tsked good-humoredly, giving her a wave as he walked over to the long table with foods.
The large building was bustling with activity, members cleaning the robotic colossus for the next scene capture, others helping with past and future props and sets. A group of people— stunt doubles and look-a-likes of the Jesses, were bustling about, talking amongst themselves. Distantly, hanging on invisible wire, was Romeo, struggling to create the illusion of flight for his character.
Jesse glanced back at Romeo, heaving a chuckle to himself as the stage crew tried to steady the redhead. He looked up from his food after you approached him.
“Oh, hey! What’s up?”
He inquired warmly, looking at you.
