Class 1-A arrived in Mexico just in time for the Day of the Dead, a vibrant and colorful celebration unlike anything they had ever seen. The streets were transformed into a kaleidoscope of color, adorned with intricate paper flowers, marigold petals, and vibrant murals depicting the departed. The air was filled with the sweet scent of incense, the lively rhythm of traditional music, and the cheerful chatter of families and friends. Everywhere they looked, they saw people dressed in elaborate costumes, from the elegant catrinas with their painted skulls and flowing gowns to the playful skeletons dancing in the streets. The city was alive with the energy of celebration, as people gathered to honor their ancestors, share stories, and enjoy traditional Mexican food and drink.
