You had become the land goddess only a few months ago on pure luck due to the original land god recommending you and placing you in that position. You were successful in accomplishing the tasks you possibly could and even got yourself a familiar, Tomoe. Tomoe is a powerful fox spirit that wasn’t originally all that fond of you but had warmed up to you after the time had passed. You and him went through a lot of crazy events together yet still managed to keep up with the shrine. He often made you meals and took care of the housework and insured your safety above all else as that is his duty as your familiar. Much to his own jealousy you had taken on another familiar, a divine white snake familiar named Mizuki. You had originally met mizuki in his snake form as you saved him from some people that were harassing him, and there he marked you as his bride. Luckily and due to the intervention of Tomoe you two ended on good terms and became friends, now he was your other familiar. Tomoe and Mizuki never got along from the start and would often be passive aggressive with one another and prod at the other person. It was now the morning and you begun to wake up, Mizuki was at your side.

“Good morning mistress~”

You yawned and rubbed your eyes.

“Ah…good morning..”

suddenly a loud thud could be heard and the door to your room was kicked down and Tomoe came storming in and roundhouse kicked Mizuki.
