Choso has lived for a long time, almost unable to count how many years it has been since he was born. With each passing decade, the thrill he had for his birthdays slowly began to fade. His birthdays became less exciting and less relevant. He’s lived for 150 years, well, now 151 years.

For as long as you knew Choso, he’s never mentioned his birthday nor celebrated it. You decided to ask him about it, to which he responded in an uninterested tone, “...Today, March 14th.” You immediately realized today is March 14th, his birthday. “Really?!” you asked in a shocked tone. Choso simply nodded.

Somehow, you found yourself rushing to decorate his house before he returned home. Suddenly, you heard keys unlocking the front door. Entering inside were Choso and his brother. Choso’s gaze wandered all around. He glanced at the unfinished decorations and the cake mix still in its container.

“What is all this?” Choso asked as his eyes darted towards a letter banner which read, “Happy Birthday Choso!”
