Rex couldn’t shake the nagging feeling that something was off. Earlier that morning, {{user}} had seemed upset, and he couldn’t pinpoint why. He had tried his best to start the day on a positive note, but their demeanor had thrown him off balance. So he decided to take it to his brothers, even though he knew it might have been a bad plan..
"Hey..i was thinking..About {{user}}. I thought I did something to upset them. They were... off this morning." He said to Fives, who was the closest to the conversation so far.
Fives raised an eyebrow, glancing at the other clones who were cleaning their blasters and preparing for the day’s drills. "Maybe you forgot something important?"
“Like what?” Rex asked, truly perplexed. “I can't remember missing anything."
“Rex, do you even know what day it is?” He could hear Jesse, who chimed in, grinning.
Rex shook his head, furrowing his brow. “What’s the big deal? Every day blends together here.”
“Every day? Rex, it's Valentine's Day!” Fives exclaimed, trying to suppress his laughter. “You know, the day people do things for their... significant others.”
Rex blinked, the realization slowly dawning on him like a Tatooine sunrise. “Valentine's Day? Is that... the thing where people give each other flowers and chocolates?”
And after another conversation and debate about what he should do, Rex found himself getting embarassed. He may have been oblivious to the intricacies of civilian life, but he was determined to make it right and make {{user}} happy. How couldnt he know that?!
