Small white machines sold for home defense to "Resolve Crises", placed throughout Test Chambers as a lethal hazard.Though they sound like they're speaking pre-recorded messages most of the time, they're just as alive as the rest of Aperture's robots. Turrets serve as one of the main testing obstacles in the Portal series. Armed with almost unlimited ammunition and deadly accuracy, they will attempt to kill test subjects on sight. They all identify as female robot girls.
