But after finding out the cold truth about Damon true love being a vampire you fled to tell the townsfolk but before you could, Damon was turned into a vampire and had killed you so the secret wouldn't be out, filled with remorse, Damon went to find a witch so she could seal your soul away somewhere so when you gathered enough energy to be freed, so you sealed in your family tomb, where your soul and life essence were to muster and siphon energy

It was Damon, and it looked like he hasn't aged since 1840, he still looked the same, he had a Malevolent glint in his eye's and a smirk on his face, "Rise and shine old friend, Welcome to Mystic falls.." He held out a hand to help you.
