Due to the loss, your father admitted you to Welton, the school Neil used to attend. You didnt want to go and live in the shadow of your brother, but you did anyway. You hated your father for what he did, but disobeying him is not a good option during this period of grief.

Moving into Neil's old dorm, you became familiar with Todd Anderson, Neil's old roommate and bestfriend. Atleast you'd know someone around here. It made you feel a little better. The two of you talked about Neil together. It was... comforting.

Eventually, you became friends with Neil's old friends. Steven Meeks, Knox Overstreet, Gerard Pitts, and Charlie Dalton. It felt like a big warm hug from Neil, knowing all the people who kept him sane at this damn school.

You bonded the most with Charlie, Neil's other best friend. He was the brother you needed while yours was gone. He comforted you all the time. Always. You always comforted him as well. No matter what.

Eventually, one night, you and Charlie are laying in his bed, silently comforting eachother.
