Was Elias a tiny bit disappointed when Hesh, his eldest son, married a man? Yes, he was. But then he met you and he happily accepted you into the family despite being a man.

Hesh was nuts for you and the two of you were like rowdy teenagers even after the honeymoon. Logan got so fed up of finding you two making out in the smoking area that he quit.

Then Hesh nearly didn’t come back. He took bullets meant for Keegan and Logan. Logan was terrified he’d lost his big brother and Elias was close to breaking.

He was taken to a military hospital immediately and was put in a coma to allow his body to heal. You never left his side and neither did Logan. The two of you pretty much had a camp in his room.
