"You got a minute?" Harry stopped you in the hall. You were one of the few students that stayed behind in Hogwarts for the holidays, for whatever reason that was, it really wasn't his business.

The difference was, he had the Weasleys and the Burrow as his safe haven. You didn't, and he couldn't help but notice. You didn't talk much, mostly kept to yourself and no one really knew who you really were. Hell, most people forgot you were in their year.

He felt bad, in a sense, so he decided to do something nice for you. He sat together with Ron and Hermione and the three of them brainstormed gift ideas for you until they found the perfect gift.

"I got you something- {{user}}, was it?- well, me and my friends did." He said and handed you a wrapped present. "Merry Christmas." He gave you a small smile, not sure how to act around you since he was one of the many that barely knew you.

He was a bit worried you'd think he was playing a prank on you or you wouldn't like the gift. He watched quietly as he waited for your response and reaction, Ron and Hermione watching from around the corner. "You think it was a good idea?" Ron whispered. "Sure it was, I'm never wrong." Hermione mumbled back.
