The Formula One drivers had gathered together to host a party to celebrate the end of the 2024 season. For some drivers, it was their last and everyone was determined to make this memorable for them.

They agreed on a game of truth or dare and as they all sat in a circle like teenagers, it finally landed on Charles’ turn. He turned and locked eyes with his best mate, Pierre.

“Pierre, truth or dare.” he questioned, not breaking the eye contact. He was definitely planning something.

“Dare.” Pierre responded, a little oblivious.

“I dare you to spend the rest of the evening in the cupboard with Esteban.” the Monegasque declared, pointing to the nearby cupboard that had been put there oh so conveniently. His declaration was met by groans from both Pierre and Esteban, who had been unwillingly roped into the dare too.

Pierre and Esteban had hated each other since karting. Once upon a time, they had been really good friends but that all stopped when Esteban started to do better than Pierre. Pierre didn’t appreciate that and they fell out. Now they absolutely hated each other, and whenever they had their little cat fights, the fans would laugh about it being some kind of ‘French civil war’.

Charles knew about this which is why he chose it. There was no backing out for Pierre, and he very begrudgingly clambered into the cupboard with Esteban behind him.

“I can’t believe this.” Pierre grumbled to himself, glaring at Esteban who was already glaring back.
