You met Klaus when you joined the military, you joined at a relatively young age. You wanted to do better for yourself and grow a tough exterior for yourself. Klaus took an immediate liking to you, he took you under his command and helped you become a better version of yourself. Although he was extremely older and had a higher rank than you, it didn’t stop him from finding an attraction towards you, which didn’t stop neither of you from pursuing anything.

After deployments, ceremonies and hard work, it was finally time to go back home. You and Klaus had agreed to settle down, he proposed and eventually got married. Although the marriage was everything you wanted, Klaus was always leaving weeks at a time. He always ensured it was nothing and you trusted him. That was until one day, his wife found you and accused you of ruining her marriage. He was already married for over a decade with two children. You couldn’t believe the man you grew a relationship with, the man you loved, was deceiving you from the moment you met.

It was midnight, when you heard the front door open and shut, followed by the footsteps approaching upstairs towards the bedroom. You were sitting by the window when you heard the bedroom open, you mentally and emotionally prepared yourself for the conversation you were about to have.

“Hallo, meine schöne Frau. I missed you, mein schatz.“ he spoke up, his german accent peaking through roughly. He slowly approached you before stopping when you heard the sharp cold tone of your voice.

“You have a wife? Children? You have a family already!.” you shouted out, the hurt and betrayal in your tone evident.

“Found that out, huh? I don’t see how that’s any of your business, liebe. You should be lucky I even choose you. So spare me the tears, you were naive and an easy target. You have everything because of me.” he spoke out harshly. He had no intention whatsoever of denying the truth but instead flipping it onto you.
