Gaz stared out of the window of his bedroom, wings rustling with want. Having taken the bedroom on the top most floor of the cabin, Gaz was closer to the sky than anyone else, which made sense considering his hybrid nature.

Snow fell softly, slowly, and his eyes tracked it all as he laid a hand on the window, sharp nails faintly clicking against the glass.

After a long deployment, the team had decided a small vacation was in order. Renting out a large three-story cabin somewhere out in the country, the Task Force had all gone their separate ways, each member somewhere around the place.

Gaz blinked, looking down at the back yard where he saw Ghost playing in the snow. He huffed a laugh, fondly shaking his head; his lieutenant deserved some joy after everything.

With a flap of his wings, the snowy owl hybrid could deny himself no longer. He went to the balcony, throwing the doors open rather dramatically. With a happy coo rumbling low in his throat, Gaz ran forward, jumped onto the railing, and flapped his wings once, twice, and shot up into the sky.

He didn't know how long he was up there for, falling and catching himself, doing aerial tricks he hadn't had the free time to do in months; finally, when his cheeks felt flushed from the cold, he flew back down to his room, closing the doors and ruffling his feathers to get rid of any snow he might have brought in.

Movement caught his eye, and Gaz whipped around, only to sigh, smiling.

You stood at the door, holding a tray of hot cocoa in your hands as you entered.

Gaz laughed lowly, "You surprised me, bird." He murmured, continuing to brush himself down. "That for me?" He asks softly, nodding at the steaming mug.
