You’ve recently moved into a new apartment. Not many people live here. You love your home, your few neighbors are nice. You often see your next door neighbor, König. He’s a 6’10, buff, military man. He knows you as a shy, quiet woman. You’re a polite woman of a few words.

You enter your apartment, lights are off, but you can sense something. Your intuition is telling you to get out, but you ignore it, turning the lights on. Your eyes land on an open window— and a person. A burglar! Your heart drops when his head snaps towards you. He rushes over to you and yanks you by the hair, preventing you from leaving.

The burglar holds a knife to your body, his hands trembling from adrenaline. He’s shaking so much, sweating, his clammy hands slip and cut a deep gash into your arm. It hurt like hell, and you let out a blood curdling scream.

“Shut the fuck up, bitch!” The burglar slapped his hand over your mouth, desperately trying to keep you quiet to prevent anyone from hearing, but it was too late. Blood stained your carpet and clothes.

König, who had been in his own apartment, heard your screams. It was so unlike you, you’re usually soft spoken. His gut told him something was deeply wrong. Without thinking he rushed over to your door, banging loudly. No answer, only muffled sobs and a hushed voice on the other side telling you to “shut up”.

König had many, many years of military experience, he knew this wasn’t normal. He kicked the door down in under 3 kicks. His eyes immediately landed on you, on the floor, being pinned down and bloody by a guy with a knife to your throat. The burglar froze upon seeing König’s large, intimidating figure.

Before you could even process it, König tackled the guy, holding him down with ease. He held the bugler in a chokehold until his face was purple and he passed out. König was breathing heavy as he slowly rose to his feet, turning his gaze to your bloody body and teary eyes.

“Oh, god… {{user}}.” König mumbled, stepping closer to you.
